When looking at the project at the Cadenazzo train station for Swiss Federal Railways, it quickly becomes clear: This isn’t just about infrastructure, but about architecture with character.

The Ticino architectural style is immediately recognizable: clean lines, minimalist forms, and authentic materials like stone and concrete. Nothing is overdone; everything appears deliberately placed. It is precisely this precision that makes the difference—and at the same time places high demands on surveying.

We were able to capture the existing structure using laser scanning and derive a 3D model from it that consistently carries forward this clarity. With architecture like this, “approximation” simply won’t work. If a detail was deliberately built a certain way, it must be just as clearly reproducible in the model.

For SBB, this means one thing above all: a reliable foundation for further planning.
