Brün, Safiental

We modeled this 3D as-built model of a historic residential building in Graubünden in Vectorworks on the basis of precise survey data. The aim was not only to create a beautiful visualization, but also a reliable planning basis for the conversion - with a clearly structured layout, comprehensible components and clearly defined floors.

Especially with buildings like this, it becomes clear why an exact digital image is crucial. Solid natural stone walls in the plinth area, decades-old timber constructions, different expansion phases under one roof - all of this can only be safely developed further if the existing building is fully understood.
