Etzelstrasse, Richterswil

Richterswil is home to a multi-layered building complex consisting of an older existing building and a modern extension. Different construction periods, façade levels and storey heights characterize the building and make a precise as-built survey particularly important.

The entire property was surveyed as part of the building survey. A particular focus was placed on the transitions between the old and new buildings as well as the different roof and façade geometries. A precise 3D CAD model was created from laser data on the basis of the laser scan data, which realistically depicts the geometry and spatial relationships of the building.

This 3D as-built model forms a reliable basis for planning and provides maximum clarity about the actual condition of the building.
