Since 1838, the legendary Savoy Baur en Ville has stood, right on Paradeplatz, like a solid rock amid the hustle and bustle of the lively Bahnhofstrasse. Zurich’s first grand hotel commands a charismatic view of Zurich’s Old Town and the city’s vibrant business district. VDE was commissioned to scan the building using a 3D laser scanner and create a 3D model of the facades. The complete package provided by VDE also includes 2D facade views.
