Old Town Survey: Historic Buildings | Spisermarkt, St. Gallen

At Spisermarkt, the VDE surveyed a small section of St. Gallen’s Old Town and created 3D models of its historic buildings.

The interlocking layout of the buildings includes rental apartments, offices, shops, and a bar, all of which contribute to the diversity and beauty of this old town. Precise data was captured using laser scanning. The detailed models provide a realistic insight into the architecture and serve the purpose of cultural preservation.
