Rail City Health Center, Basel

In the middle of Basel SBB station, the Rail City health center was completely captured using 3D laser scanning and processed as a precise 3D as-built model.

The detailed recording on site created a continuous point cloud as the basis for the modeling. Based on this, a structured 3D CAD model was developed that precisely depicts both architectural elements and relevant fixtures.

Especially in an environment like Rail City, where different uses come together closely and conversions take place during ongoing operations, a clean as-built model makes all the difference. It creates clarity, saves time and brings certainty to any further planning.
