Sonnenberg Care Center, Affoltern am Albis

The Sonnenberg Care Center recently teamed up with us on a cool project: a building survey using laser scanning.

Why? To ensure that the infrastructure remains perfectly tailored to the residents’ needs well into the future.

The goal? Thanks to this innovative approach, the care center aims to ensure that the facilities are used optimally so that its residents can continue to feel at home in the warm, family-like atmosphere.

And how does laser scanning help us with that? Well, we used the point cloud data to create a 3D ArchiCAD model. The architectural team is now using this to efficiently move the planning process forward. Because, hey, you can’t design changes efficiently unless you know what you’re working with, right?
