Unterwerk site, Melide

Many site developments fail not because of the idea, but because of incorrect assumptions in the initial phase. Existing plans seem sufficient - until heights, gradients, connections and established structures suddenly cause problems during implementation.

In Melide, we therefore deliberately started with reality. The entire site was precisely recorded using 3D laser scanning and modeled as a reliable as-built basis. The terrain, buildings and infrastructure were depicted as they actually are - not as you would expect them to be.

The result is a consistent 3D site basis that provides clarity at an early stage, makes risks visible and offers planning security - long before the first drafts are finalized.

This project shows how crucial it is to get off to the right start - not to plan faster, but to plan more correctly.
