October, you were wild—and more educational than ever!
Wow! October was really something else! Three words probably describe it best: intense, educational, and full of highlights. Between trade show visits, expert presentations, and exciting surveying projects, this month was a real experience—both professionally and personally.
My October kicked off with a highlight: my first visit to INTERGEO! Together with Livio Villa and João Sanches, we headed to Frankfurt. Amid drones, 3D scans, and digital twins, there were countless exciting insights and inspiring conversations. Of course, networking was a must: apple wine, pork knuckle, and great conversations included. A fantastic start to the month!
In mid-October came my personal adventure: my first event all on my own in Ticino! I was pretty nervous, but moments like these show just how much you can accomplish when you dare to take the plunge. The focus was on GIS and BIM, and six technical presentations by true professionals made it clear just how closely these two worlds are interconnected today. A valuable experience that showed me how much you can surpass yourself when you dare to try something new.
At the end of the month, I headed back to Ticino, this time with the entire surveying team. Together with Seenujan Jeevan, I was able to take charge of the on-site surveying. From GPS to 3D laser scanning, it was a real surveying adventure! As a reward, we had pizza—the perfect way to end a great day.
A month full of impressions, experiences, and motivation! I’m incredibly grateful for all these experiences and for the people with whom I get to share them. A big thank you to the entire team at VDE Villa Digital Engineering AG for giving me the chance to learn, try new things, and experience so much.
Here’s to an equally exciting November full of new projects and challenges!
