New St. Gallen Branch – VDE in the Heart of Eastern Switzerland

Friday was the big day: VDE officially moved into its new office in St. Gallen. Freshly painted walls, a new desk, the aroma of coffee in the air—and plenty of excitement about the projects that will take shape here.

With this new location, we’re moving even closer to our clients in Eastern Switzerland. The central location right on the market square makes it easy to get to meetings, project handoffs, and direct on-site discussions—a clear advantage, especially for building surveys and BIM projects, where proximity to the site and the client is essential.

Of course, the move didn’t go off without a few stories: a bulky IKEA sofa, spontaneous moving helpers who dropped by during their lunch break, and a few leftover screws were all part of the fun. And the timing couldn’t have been better—just as we were moving in, the St. Gallen Festival was taking place right outside the office door.

With St. Gallen as its fourth location alongside Chur, Männedorf, and Baar, VDE is consistently expanding its presence in Eastern Switzerland—closer to the projects, closer to the clients.
