While surveying the buildings of Villa Fama, we took a trip into the glamorous past. Many famous people stayed at the villa, including Fyodor Dostoevsky, Victor Hugo and Giuseppe Garibaldi.
Villa Fama was built in 1861 by Joseph Fama when he settled in Saxon and took over the management of the casino and baths, transforming it into an exclusive establishment.
