Hello St. Gallen!

New chapter: Hello St. Gallen! Friday was the day - I officially moved into our new office in St. Gallen! Fresh walls, a new desk, the smell of coffee in the air - and lots of anticipation for all the exciting projects that will be created here.

The move began in style, of course, with a heroic shopping trip to IKEA.The grand finale: a sofa that felt heavier than a small car that somehow had to get to the first floor. Just at that moment, a couple of friendly passers-by came by during their lunch break - unaware that they were about to become involuntary removal men. As a thank you, VDE offered the hard-working helpers lunch - the least we could do after this sporting feat - and once at the top, the legendary IKEA moment followed: the assembly.

As always, there were a few screws left over - we now simply call this "Scandinavian design freedom." Incidentally, our new location is right on the market square - it couldn't have been better! And the timing could hardly have been better: The St. Gallen Festival took place just in time for our move - the perfect welcome party right on our office doorstep. Our new location brings us even closer to our customers in Eastern Switzerland and creates new opportunities for dialogue and collaboration.

For me, it feels a bit like the first day of school: everything is new, exciting and full of energy, and I'm looking forward to filling this place with life, making new contacts and experiencing lots of inspiring moments, so if you're in the neighbourhood, feel free to drop by for a coffee :-)
