Creating a 3D building model like this requires teamwork. Our project manager, João Sanches, handles the request for a quote. His job is to find the most suitable solution based on the information provided. We often offer various options, allowing the client to choose the level of detail or scale and compare prices.
When it comes to data collection, we’re most efficient as a duo. Most of the time, you’ll work with Livio Villa and Seenujan Jeevan. Teamwork is especially crucial during georeferencing to link the project to the coordinate system. We also use two scanners simultaneously—which, of course, doubles our speed.
The lead surveyor is responsible for registering the point cloud data. However, another geomatics specialist then checks the results for displacements and errors—that’s teamwork for you.
It’s no different when it comes to modeling. Team leader Trang Nguyen assigns individual tasks to our drafters. At the same time, the building takes shape step by step—one person works on the ground floor, another on the site, and the most experienced staff members handle the top floor with the roof structure.
The review of both the internal preliminary delivery and the final delivery takes place through direct communication between the project manager and the team leader. As you can see, it takes a strong, well-coordinated team from the initial inquiry all the way to the finished 3D model.
And that’s great. Everyday work would be boring if it relied solely on state-of-the-art technology. It’s the people involved in the project who make every project an experience.
