Survey of a Historic Villa | Villa Fama, Saxon, VS

Villa Fama was built in 1861 by the famous Joseph Fama when he settled in Saxon and took over management of the casino and the spas. He transformed the small village into a sophisticated and cosmopolitan destination by turning the casino into an exclusive establishment that also housed a concert hall. Many famous figures stayed at the villa, including Fyodor Dostoevsky, Victor Hugo, and Giuseppe Garibaldi.

To breathe new life into the now-vacant villa and transform it into a hotel experience, our team surveyed the property and created a 3D model of it. The architect and his team can now optimally integrate their modern vision into the historic spaces worthy of preservation.
