Historic Farmhouse | Wengi near Büren

The Fascination of Farmhouses—Artists, tourists, ethnologists, and folklorists have always been fascinated by farmhouses. We are carrying on the traditional craftsmanship and expertise required to build farmhouses in our own way, using 3D laser scanning, to preserve this type of building.

For this project, VDE was commissioned to survey the historic farmhouse using a 3D laser scanner and create a 3D ArchiCAD model from the data. The main building was analyzed in detail, while the outbuildings were modeled as simplified cubes.
