Historic Warehouse Building: Existing Model | Forch, ZH

Directly across from the beautiful Gasthof Krone in Forch stands an impressive warehouse that is just as steeped in history as the inn itself, which was built as early as 1783 to serve as a stagecoach stop.

In the spring of 2023, we had the pleasure of capturing and modeling the inn in all its splendor in 3D. We were thrilled when we were then commissioned to also capture and model the neighboring building in 3D.

Although the building may seem unassuming from the outside, the old wooden roof truss reveals impressive craftsmanship.

It’s fascinating to bring these historic structures to life and document their unique construction methods. The combination of the past and modern technology allows us to preserve the beauty of these architectural masterpieces and share them with the world.
